However, the laws of physics have created the possibilities in bringing out these elegant roofing designs. Gable Roof style

A gabled Roof is a ‘pitched roof’ or a ‘peaked roof ’and recognized by a triangular shape. And the gable roof designs are simple and looks like an inverted V. Also, the shape and slope and the ridge extend the length of the house. In fact, the gabled roof style is the most common roof style because of the design. So, the benefit of this type of roof is that it offers greater space for an attic.

Hip roof style

 Mansard roof style

A mansard roof is a four-sided gambrel-style hip roof, characterized by two slopes on each of its sides. Advantages of Mansard roof

Shed roof style

Shed roofs have one slope but more pitch than a flat roof.  Shed roof can also be called Skillion roof because they are often used for additions.
