Pool and Spa Inspections
Pool and Spa Inspection
Pool and spa inspection are essential for home buyers. This will ensure the pool, pump, solar, and pool heater will operate as intended. The pool inspection will be inspected without any additional fees.
The inspection covers the electrical system, the pumping system, the vacuum system, the pool lights, all pipes, and controls. We will inspect the pool for the safety of all electrical wiring and the mounting of the pool light. Also, the pool should be fence and locked. Thus, the inspector will operate the pool controls for operation and make visual checks of the pool pump and controls for leaks and proper operation. In addition, check the control timer for proper operation.
Pool Maintenance
The owner should check the pool surface visually once a year. However, the visual inspection can’t determine if the pool is leaking or will leak. Also, the home inspector can’t determine if the pool is leaking at the time of inspection. Although, there are companies that perform leak detection tests. So, we highly recommend hiring a pool company to provide pool maintenance, if the owner is not experienced with pool maintenance. Also, we recommend taken water samples, and changing the filter once per week.
