Flagler Beach
Flagler Beach
Flager Beach has always been an interesting quaint place to spend the day and enjoy the beach. Nonetheless, living in Flagler County for the last 30 years there has been many changes with growth. However, not sure at this moment if the Margaritaville Hotel is going to be the right fit for beach goers. For years there was limitations on the height of the builds in Flagler Beach with limits no more than 35 Feet, which appears to be much higher than that. With great hope this won’t happen again. The views of many have been obstructed and frankly some of the businesses must not be too happy with the city officials.
On the other hand, out of town vacationers will bring revenue to many of the small business owners. Also, this may stimulate the economy and bring in real estate investor as well as home buyers into the community. Being a business owner, the real estate market is very soft, and most of the realtors and home inspector are feeling the impact. As a home inspector, the inspection business has slowed down to less than 50%. Some inspectors are hurting more than others as well as realtors. With mortgage interest so high, it is very difficult for first time buyers to buy property. So, with great hope this market will change and restore the economy.
